Huntsmith Collection Retriever Chaps were designed in cooperation with Shannon Nardi of Dancing Dog Production and Justin Tackett, Event Creator Super Retriever Series broadcast on Outdoor Living Network. Designed as Huntsmith Collection's first chaps but the retriever chap has belt loops instead of a waist band. This allows you to wear one leg at a time. The belt loops are adjustable using Velcro. Set the length once and snap.

This style of chaps fit as the original chaps with the oilcloth leg falling 2” below the crotch at the inseam.

How to care for your Oilcloth

  • Always hang to dry after use, and away from flame or artificial heat.
  • Light soiling remove with soft brush and sponge with cold water.
  • Heavy soils hose rinse with cold water.
  • Do not use hot water, soap detergent, bleach, starch or any cleaning agents.
  • Do not wring, spin or tumble dry.
  • Do not iron or dry clean.
  • So not stitch anything to exterior of garment without resealing stitches.
  • Reproof garment when necessary with oilcloth re-proofer.
