The unrivaled durability of the G1™ is due to the double-wall rotomolded construction, which guards against both human error and seasonal elements. The second layer offers additional protection for your dog, making a real difference in the case of an accident (read stories of how our crates have saved lives here).

You’ll find the same exclusive features that are built into all of our kennels – details we’ve always wanted but never been able to find in any other crate – but we’ve also tailored the G1™ Small to the needs of a smaller dog: The window grates are designed taller and wider, providing better airflow for your dog down low without compromising on structural integrity.

    GK STORY

    Addison Edmonds, Gunner Kennels CEO

Like some of the best Southern stories, ours begins with a dog. Gunner Kennels was conceived in a duck blind, and inspired by my best friend Gunner. Gunner has one mission in life and that’s to please his owner, a trait all dogs have in common. I’ve always felt uneasy traveling with him in traditional plastic crates... watching Gunner work in the field made me realize I wanted to build a kennel with as much passion and drive as he gave when retrieving. So I sold my company in Oxford, Mississippi and moved home to Nashville, Tennessee to do that.
Every detail of this kennel is designed for the invested dog owner – and for anyone else who loves seeing their dogs light up when you ask them to “Kennel" and they know they're tagging along in your next adventure.
