    The gaiters I ordered for my husband’s birthday have not been tried out yet, but he was pleased to see them since he is headed for the desert soon. He was nearly bitten by a large rattler last year and we were a long way from a hospital, so these will give peace of mind. Glad to have them arrive on time as stated.

    We recently purchased property in southern Arizona. Are aware and have seen at least one Mojave Rattlesnake. After looking at all the various snake gaiters available and reading the reviews we decided to purchase the TurtleSkins. We plan on doing some hiking and exploring in the Santa Rita mountains and surrounding areas and wanted something that was comfortable and lightweight. The delivery and contact with customer service was very positive and we will review further once we have had a chance to actually use and wear them for a few months.

    High quality, lite-weight snake protection that is comfortable and something I’m glad to have as I wander through the Wichita Mountains in search of wildlife to photograph. We have Diamondbacks, Copperheads and Cottonmouths in the grass, on the rocks, and around the many lakes in the area. I am ordering another pair for my wife. Some of our friends have less expensive snake guards but complain about their weight and uncomfortable fit. These are well worth the price.

    After several other gaiters, these are the best I have tried. Lightweight and comfortable. Well worth the price.
