Buck Mountain Botanicals is a Montana based company actively researching organic products for animals. These products are normally only available through veterinarians, and now they are exclusively available in the Ready Dog Trauma/Field Aid Kit.
- Buck Mountain Botanicals is an organic grower and producer of veterinary botanical products for all creatures. All botanicals are grown on their land without the use of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides or any other materials.

- Buck Mountain Wound Aid
- Wound Aid for Animals is yarrow, Achillea millefolium, harvested in full bloom, dried and powdered. It can be liberally applied to open bleeding, oozing or otherwise raw wounds. Wound Aid can be sprinkled or thrown on to the open wound if the animal is not cooperative. A large quantity will adhere to the wound. Yarrow is a hemostat or blood stopper and works best on lacerations. It is not as effective of a blood stopper on scalpel incisions or clipped nails. It is anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial and accelerates wound healing with reduced formation of scar tissue. Wound Aid is ideal for open wounds and because it is highly anti-microbial, the wound does not require any pre-treatment.
- Buck Mountain Wound Balm
- Wound Balm for Animals is an emulsion of the extract of burdock root, Echinacea root and yarrow herb in olive oil and beeswax. It is applied topically as needed. It is ideal for treating minor cuts and closed wounds and aids in the healing process. Wound Balm is also ideal for sunburns, insect bites and minor skin infections and irritations.
